 Just watched Cloverfield again for the 5th time. Funny, I remember last time when it was shown here last January. Some of the people hate it and some of the people love it. The people who hate the movie are the ones who easily got dizzy and didn’t understand the movie at all. The movie is not a Godzilla or Transformer big budget type of movie. If you have followed how JJ Abrams(producer) markets the film. He markets it using an unusual viral marketing on the web. Using a lot of clues just to make people really interested in the movie.
Cloverfield was a hybrid of Godzilla and Blairwitch. It was shot using a digicam, that’s why I understand that a lot of people might get dizzy specially the fast shots while they are running or under attack by the monster. I think the movie was really successful and it actually break records for movies opening in January.
The movie for me was great, the monster is really unique and the experience is like a rollercoaster ride. You will feel that you are in there running and escaping new york as the monster unleashes hell! |

 I just finished watching Step Up 2 the Streets movie. All I can say is another amazing feel good movie and what can I say about Briana Evigan she is one hot chick! Even though you are not a hip hop lover or fanatic you will appreciate this movie a lot. There’s a lot of crazy and sick dance moves that amazes me while watching the movie.
Step Up 2: The Streets, follows Andie (Briana Evigan) as she pursues her dream of becoming a dancer. Andie is passionate about dancing and rehearses regularly with her 'crew', the 410, to keep the title in the illegal competition of The Streets. Andie's foster mother is tired of the crime and harassment of the 410 and tells Andie she will go to live with her aunt in Texas if she doesn't turn her life around. Andie's friend and older brother figure Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) persuades her to audition for the Maryland School of the Arts, where Andie receives a place. When Andie's studies come before the crew, the members are not happy and decide to drop her. Andie however has different ideas and forms her own crew to compete. Missy, joins the crew after dropping out of the 410 following Andie's removal. I’m recommending this movie for everyone who loves to dance and just want to be inspired actually this movie is one of those feel good and inspiring movies. Plus a lot of good Hip Hop music that will really make you dance to the beat! |
